Insurance

Proceeding to mountaineering activities our clients should have their own insurance coverage.  We highly recommend that our clients contract a cancellation insurance in case of last-minute travel changes, injuries, accidents or for any other reasons. Clients are fully responsible for their insurance coverage.
It is a sole responsibility of clients that they are fully covered for all mountaineering activities and all related risks during all the period of mountaineering course.
The insurance should include helicopter rescue, research, rescue rapatriation and hospitalisation expenses in case of any accident. All EMG guides have contracted a professional guide insurance coverage.

Activities

The guide reserves the right  to modify/change  programme/itinerary with a client (venue, mountain objective, route or activities booked) should the guide deem it necessary depending on weather/mountaineering conditions and abilities/physical condition of the client. If programme needs to be modified/changed the guide will suggest an alternative programme that is maximum in compliance with the initial programme and maximum fits initial objective.
If such changes in programme lead to extra charges and expenses for the client, the guide will discuss them with the client.
The client is fully responsible for informing the guide before proceeding to mountaineering activities of any health problems of the client, any diseases and other health and other reasons including but not limited to pregnancy that may have influence on health condition of the client during mountaineering course.
The client has to cover all normal expenses of the guide during the courses like food, transportation unless agreed otherwise.
The guide reserves the right not to allow to one of the clients in the group to continue mountaineering course/itinerary or participate in one or another part of the course/itinerary if he deems that this may endanger or incur some risk for this particular client or any other member of the group or all the rest of the group.

Cancellation and refund policy

The client can cancel mountaineering course free of charge (except expenses on bank transfer transaction) within 7 days after the date of booking unless the reservation was done within 31 days before the first day of the trip.
The deposit of 30% of the price of the mountaineering course is not subject to refund after the client made the payment unless cancellation was done within 7 days after the date of booking and the reservation was done earlier than 31 days before the first day of the trip.
In case client wants to cancel the reservation within the trip or to terminate a mountaineering course for his/her own reasons the full price of the course should be paid to the guide. We highly recommend that clients contract a cancellation insurance.
If the guide should stop the course/route because he considers that continuing may endanger the group/the client due to risky condition/weather the price for the course should be paid in proportion to part of course that was done including time for return.
The full price is subject to payment if the group/client leaves the refuge to attempt the summit or route.
If the guide before to proceed to course/route makes decision or comes to conclusion that the course/route should be cancelled due to bad conditions and/or  he is not able to offer an alternative course, the full price is subject to refund (except expenses on bank transfer transaction) to the client unless the client decide himself to reach the refuge to attempt the ascent.
